Established in 1984 by the Selvam Educational and Charitable Trust under the visionary leadership of Dr. S.A. Raja, a distinguished philanthropist and educator from Vadakangulam, Joy University is dedicated to providing high-quality education, particularly to students from socially and economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Our core mission is to empower young men and women with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in a globalized world, fostering innovation and the application of technology for the betterment of humanity. As part of the esteemed Selvam Educational and Charitable Trust, which oversees over 30 higher educational institutions spanning Engineering, Medicine, Dental Sciences, Pharmacy, Polytechnic studies, Nursing, and Arts & Science, we benefit from a rich legacy of educational excellence. Beyond academic pursuits, the Trust actively promotes Corporate Social Responsibility through initiatives such as support for the Deaf and Dumb Association, blood donation drives, eye camps, tree planting campaigns, and participation in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
